Pregnancy Confirmed!! 🥳 🥰

Well, the last couple of weeks have flown by and we are so thrilled to announce that we are officially pregnant!!!

Since our last post, we had a great couple of last days in Florida with Trent's family, however, our plans to go to Portland for the transfer got interrupted due to flight delays in Miami. We ended up with a 20-hour delay due to storms and mechanical issues with the plane, spending the night at the airport, and not being able to make any connecting flights work to get us to the transfer in time. We were definitely a little bummed, but we didn't let that affect our attitudes, so we wore our lucky transfer shirts that Jane's family got for us, and communicated with Jane and her husband from the flight once we finally got off the ground.

We ended up landing back home in Minneapolis within minutes of the transfer and by the time we started our drive home, the procedure had already started. Jane's husband was so awesome in keeping us posted, sending pictures and updates during our drive, and we are so thankful he was there with her. The drive home was so surreal and emotional for us, kind of in shock that it was happening again, yet feeling a bit bummed about not being there with her, but we knew in our hearts that she had this!! Our only request this time, based on numerous suggestions from others on our last post, is that she gets some Mc D's fries after the transfer 😂 So we get word that the transfer went just as well as expected and Jane returned safely to the hotel for the next couple days of bed rest, and yes she did get her fries, she was willing to do whatever it takes 🍟

After we returned home and got settled, we stayed cautiously optimistic but had a really good feeling about this time. Jane and her husband returned home safely a couple of days later after the bed rest in Portland, and we once again started counting the sleeps until the first appointment to check her levels which was to take place on the 20th. Over fathers day weekend, Jane surprised us with pregnancy tests, both on the 18th and 19th, which gave us more hope as they both came back positive! On Monday the 20th, we got the official confirmation from our Dr that Jane was in fact pregnant based on lab results and her hCG levels. Her second appointment was today, June 22nd, and her hCG levels have doubled, which is exactly what they are looking for. We are now very confident this time and wanted to wait for these results before posting, so we are very very excited to let everyone know this great news!!

It's crazy how some things work out, and we are not sure if it was the lucky shirts or fries, but are just so over the moon excited and grateful for the whole experience, even if from afar. Our next milestone should be the ultrasound which will be on July 8th, so we will update everyone then once we have more news to share! Until then we appreciate everyone's love and support so much ❤️
